THE CHALLENGE

A world-leading academic publisher needed a modern purchasing and logistics process across its key markets. Local add-ons and tax rules varied by country, and its SAP landscape still ran on-premise at a high cost.

WHAT WE DID

We ran agile delivery of a £2.8m procure-to-pay transformation for the UK, US and Canada, then rolled the digital core out to Australia under a separate local scope. In parallel, we migrated SAP ECC, BW, APO, CRM and Solution Manager from on-premise to Azure, and compared options across Azure, AWS, SAP Cloud and Google Cloud.

THE RESULTS

The publisher now runs one global purchasing solution with a modern Fiori experience across four markets. Its core SAP systems moved to Azure without disruption, cutting running costs and improving scalability.
